Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) is one of the biggest universities in Lithuania. VGTU is a member of over 50 international organisations and has over 200 partners consolidated by international projects. VGTU implements many international projects under different funding programmes, such as COST, EUREKA, FP-5, FP-6, FP-7, INTERREG IIIB, and PHARE. Curricula adjustments to meet labour market requirements and the quality assurance in studies are the main priorities in the development plan of VGTU. VGTU is a participant in the EU-Korea, EU-ALFA3 and the EU-Asia link projects. It was awarded the ECTS label in 2006 and the E-Quality Label of European National Agencies in 2007. The Department of Construction Economics and Property Management (CEPM) is committed to developing web-based intelligent, biometric and computer learning systems for real-world applications in construction and real estate. The department focuses its research on multi-variant decision support systems in construction, health and safe house, energy efficiency, climate change, online artificial intelligence technologies, e-city, and big data analytics. The department is active in R&D projects and is currently involved in 10 different projects in the EU, Africa, Asia and at home (COST, FP-5, FP-6, FP-7, TEMPUS, LLP, Intelligent Energy Europe programme). The department is a TEMPUS project coordinator. In the course of these projects, the department has contributed to the scientific community in the last three years 20 articles published in ISI Web of Science journals.

PhD. DrSc A. Kaklauskas is a professor at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, in Lithuania; Director of the Research Institute of Smart Building Technologies; Head of the Department of Construction Economics and Property Management; laureate of the Lithuanian Science Prize; member of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences and editor of Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, an international journal. He contributed to nine Framework programme projects and participated in over 30 other projects in the EU, US, Africa and Asia. The Belarusian State Technological University (Minsk, Belarus) awarded him an Honorary Doctorate in 2014. His publications include nine books and 132 papers in Web of Science Journals. Fifteen PhD students successfully defended their theses under his supervision. The Web of Science H-Index of Prof. A. Kaklauskas is 22. Web of Science Journals have cited him 1625 times. His areas of interest include life cycle analyses of built environments, energy, climate change, resilience management, healthy houses, sustainable built environments, big data analytics, intelligent decision support systems, intelligent tutoring systems, intelligent library, internet of things, etc.

Ieva Ubartė is junior researcher in the Vilnius Gediminas technical university. Agne Kuzminske received the degree of Ph.D. in Management in Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, in 2013. At present, she is working as a researcher at the Research Institute of Smart Building Technologies and as a lecturer at Department of Construction Economics and Property Management in Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. She is working in the research fields related to: area of interest is climate change, resilience management, healthy house, sustainable built environment, intelligent decision support systems, tutoring systems, intelligent library, etc. She had participated in several different projects and is an author of several ISI Web of Science publications.
